The many dear friends of Sallie L. Long will be pained to learn that she has passed away. The end came Sunday at 5 p.m., after a two weeks’ illness with the grip. Since Wednesday her case has been particularly pitiable as she suffered intensely with convulsions. She is the daughter of Benjamin and Martha Long, who live 3 ½ miles northeast of Crawfordsville on the Overcoat Road, and at her death was 21 years old. In disposition she was particularly sweet and her untimely taking off will bring sorrow to many hearts outside the family and relatives. The funeral will occur at the house tomorrow at 1 o’clock.
